Non-Exempt stores must close on Labour Day Public Holiday - Monday 5 October 2020

Please be reminded that if you are a ‘Non-exempt’ store you must be closed this Labour Day Public Holiday, Monday 5th October 2020, within the Greater Adelaide Area.
Millicent is included as a Non-exempt area.
‘Non-exempt’ stores are those defined food and grocery stores, including supermarkets, which exceed 400sqm retail floor space, with storage in an adjacent area not exceeding 50% of the total retail Area.
As a general non-food and grocery store your retail floor space cannot exceed 200sqm and the 50% storage area rule also applies.
All stores outside the Greater Adelaide Area are ‘Exempt’ including the Adelaide CBD and Glenelg Tourist Precinct, but excluding Millicent.
All ‘Exempt’ stores can trade unrestricted, including across the Greater Adelaide Area.
Remember: Public Holiday Penalty Rates apply on all SA's Public Holidays.
